Social Media Policy
1.Basic Policy
This policy sets forth the basic policies for operation of Edec Linsey System Corporation’s (hereinafter referred to as “EdecLinsey”) official accounts on social media in order to provide safe and reliable information. EdecLinsey is deeply aware that all information we disseminate entails social responsibility, and we strive to comply with laws and regulations, properly manage confidential information, and prevent misunderstandings and confusion caused by inappropriate dissemination. In this way, EdecLinsey promotes the communication of sincere and trustworthy information so that our stakeholders can access our information with peace of mind.
2.Purpose for Using Social Media
EdecLinsey regards social media as an important means of communication and uses it to build a relationship of trust with society, to foster understanding and identification with EdecLinsey, and to enhance our brand value. Through our official accounts, we will sincerely communicate our stance, initiatives, and values as a company, and aim to build two-way dialogues and open relationships with our stakeholders.
3.Social Media Definition
The term social media as used in this policy refers to media and services that transmit and share information on the Internet and enable interactive communication among users. This includes, but is not limited to, the following services.
- ・SNS (X, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, WeChat)
- ・Video streaming platforms (YouTube, YOUKU)
- ・Blogs, bulletin boards, review sites, and other user-submitted services
4.Basic Stance on Communicating Information Through Official Accounts
・Communication with integrity and moderation We understand the immediacy and diffusion characteristics of social media, and we will be careful in our expressions and strive to avoid misleading and emotional phrases.
・Accurate and responsible communication We recognize that information communicated through our official accounts is public information, and we will strive to ensure the accuracy and transparency of the content. Careful attention will be paid not to disseminate information that has not been fully confirmed.
・Emphasis on empathy and dialogue with users In our social media communication activities and when communicating information, we will always treat others with respect and sincerity, and strive to engage in constructive dialogue with others.
5.Rules for Submitted Contents
In communicating information through the official accounts, EdecLinsey will not post or make comments that include any of the following.
・Confidential information
Non-public information such as confidential information related to customers, suppliers, employees, and related parties; unpublished project information; and financial information
・Slanderous and discriminatory expressions
Slander, discriminatory, or offensive expressions against others, companies, customers, or co-workers
・Intellectual property rights
Unauthorized use of third-party copyrighted material without proper rights clearance
・Personal information
Information that violates or may violate the privacy, honor, or other rights of specific individuals
・Content that violates laws and regulations or offends social standards
Content that promotes expressions or acts that violate laws and regulations or social norms, or that is deemed inappropriate in light of general decency or public order
6.Guidelines for Interactions
・Please note that we may not be able to respond to comments or messages.
・If we find any inappropriate posts, such as those that violate the “5. Rules for Submitted Contents,” we may take measures such as deleting or hiding the posts.
・The content in our social media does not necessarily represent the official views of EdecLinsey. Please check the EdecLinsey website and news releases for official information.
・Information on our official accounts is current at the time of sending and is subject to change or deletion in the future without notice.
